Andrew Kimball’s New Release on the Kimball Family
Andrew Kimball’s new book, The Blood in Their Veins: The Kimballs, Polygamy, and the Shaping of Mormonism is now available! Happy Pride Month!
To celebrate Pride this June, Signature is sponsoring a few events, beginning on Saturday, June 14, with Pride Voices: Author Talk and Celebration at the Park City Library. Laurie Lee Hall will speak and sign copies of her new memoir, Dictates of Conscience: From Mormon High Priest to My New Life as a Woman. Essayist Becca Appel-Barrus will also be on hand to sign copies of The Book of Queer Mormon Joy anthology.
Signature will host an event on Tuesday, June 17, “Breaking the Binary: A Pride Month Conversation on Dictates of Conscience,” with Hall and Elizabeth Clement, University of Utah professor of history.

Award-Winning Signature Books Titles
Several Signature titles have recently won prestigious awards from the Association for Mormon Letters! Katie Ludlow Rich and Heather Sundahl’s Fifty Years of Exponent II won the Creative Nonfiction Award, and Maureen Clark’s This Insatiable August won for Best Poetry.
The Utah Humanities Council named four Signature titles as “Notable Reads” finalists for their 2025 Utah Book Awards in Memoir and Narrative Nonfiction. The top winner will be announced in mid-July. (Authors who live full-time in Utah are eligible for this recognition.)
