The Times and Seasons blog reviewed Eduardo Balderas: Father of Church Translation, 1907–1989 by Ignacio Garcia. This book lands at an important time as the United States faces the ongoing issues of immigration. Balderas, an immigrant from Mexico, bridged language and cultural gaps for Spanish-speaking members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, helping them to feel included in their faith.
At Last She Said It podcast hosts Susan Hinckley and Cynthia Winward interviewed Laurie Lee Hall about her memoir, Dictates of Conscience: From Mormon High Priest to My Life as a Woman. The book is now available as an audiobook as well as in print and ebook formats.
