With the recent passing of Lavina Fielding Anderson, Signature Books and the entire Mormon studies community lost a dear friend and important voice. Her words of wisdom were numerous, and her influence as a scholar and as a mentor to many was immeasurable. Thankfully, that influence will live on.

At this tribute event, Signature Books employees and board members will begin by sharing their thoughts on Lavina's contributions as a former board member, editor, and author. Members of the audience will then be invited to share their thoughts. Lavina's son Christian and wife Marina will also be present.

The first sixty attendees will be gifted with a copy of Lavina's 2020 book, Mercy without End: Toward a More Inclusive Church. Refreshments will also be provided.

Parking at Signature Books will be available in the west parking lot next to the building and on the street. The event will be held on the second floor and there is no elevator. Anyone wishing to attend who needs help on the stairs, please let a Signature staff member know and we will help you.
