Linda Sillitoe is a graduate of the University of Utah. As a Deseret News reporter, features editor for Utah Holiday, and a New York Times correspondent, she garnered awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press. Her non-fiction works include Banking on the Hemingways, Salamander, Friendly Fire, and Welcoming the World. Her fiction includes Crazy for Living, Secrets Keep, and Sideways to the Sun. She is a contributor to Bright Angels and Familiars, The Evening and the Morning, Greening Wheat, Harvest, and The Wilderness of Faith. She has taught at four colleges, co-produced the PBS-affiliated documentary "Navajo and American," and has been published in Exponent II, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Sunstone, and elsewhere. She currently lives in Mesa, Arizona.
