BEST POETRY AWARD, ASSOCIATION FOR MORMON LETTERS

The sentiments Linda Sillitoe expresses in this collection reflect most people's moods: a feeling of inner freedom in one moment, followed by a sense of mortal limitation and even dread in the next—from hope to despair, but in language of surprising beauty. Several of the poems first appeared in City Arts, the Deseret News, Dialogue, Exponent II, Network, Sunstone, Utah Holiday, Weber Studies, or the anthology Harvest.
