Dialogue is an independent Latter-day Saint quarterly that attempts to express Mormon culture and to examine its relevance to everyday life. Its editors enjoy bringing their faith into conversation with the larger spectrum of world religious thought and human experience as a whole, as well as to foster artistic and scholarly achievement that is religiously based. The journal encourages a variety of viewpoints, with every effort to ensure the accuracy of the research and responsible judgment in the presentation.
Recent issues of Dialogue have dealt with LDS headquarters culture, historical considerations about Jesus' life, rare photographs of the Salt Lake temple, Mormonism's worldwide aspirations and its changing conceeptions fo race and linage, the growing tally of Joseph Smith's wives, and efforts to retain church members in Europe and Japan. Along with feature articles, there are also book reviews, poetry, short fiction, scriptural exegesis and meditation, comments from readers, and paintings and drawings by visual artists. Dialogue is a quarterly, published by the Dialogue Foundation.
